2017 RAS Team Sporting Selections

Entry forms have been made available for riders who wish to try out for selection to represent Area One in the 2017 RAS Team Sporting competition. The selection day will be held on Saturday 12th November at Londonderry Pony Club. The forms can be found on our 'Forms' page.

Selection of the Area One team will be based on performance in the races nominated for the RAS program. Details are in the information sheet. The top 5 rider/horse combinations will represent Area One on 19th April, 2017. The next 5 highest scoring combinations may make up a team for another Area that is unable to field a team. It is possible that Area One may be requested to provide two additional teams to represent two other Areas if they are unable to field teams, so selection will rank combinations down to the 20 highest scoring ones. This will allow for 3 teams of 5 riders plus a pool of 5 reserves.
