GLENORIE TROPHIES

At the end of each year Glenorie Pony Club presents a selection of awards to riders who have displayed great sportsmanship, been successful in competition or shown improvement in their riding. Each of our trophies are described below.

Barbara Cummins Perpetual Trophy

To a member of the Club showing good character and sportsmanship, a caring and understanding attitude towards their horses, together with an improvement in their riding ability over the year (awared to a rider in each age group).

Tilbaroo Trophy

Awarded to members whose overall enthusiasm to the ideals of Pony Club is demonstrated by active participation in team and Zone events, their attitude to instruction and instructors, and their enthusiastic participation in all Pony Club activities (awared to a rider in each age group).

​

Chief Instructors Award

Awarded to the pony club rider who shows a willingness and determination in their own riding achievements as well as demonstrating good sportsmanship towards their fellow riders.

​

Sherryl Riley Trophy

Awarded to the 'Quiet Achiever' who has displayed the best and fairest attitude towards the enjoyment of their riding.

​

Bryan Cook Trophy

To a member of the Club who has had the best interests of the Club and its members at heart, building and maintaining the spirit of the Pony Club in all respects.

 
Performance Trophies

Performance trophies are awarded to Glenorie riders based on the performances submitted to the Committee toward the end of each year. Champion and Reserve Champion Trophies are presented.

Ces Copp Memorial Performance Trophy

For the member who was the most successful competitor in outside competiton during the year, paying particular attention to the quality of the competition.

​

Dudley Gauld Sporting Performance Trophy

Awarded to a member for the best sporting performance in all competition during the year.

​

Pernice Family Mounted Games Trophy

For the member who has shown the most improvement in Mounted Games skills during the year, paying particular attention to the Pony Club MG competitions.

​

Ian James Show Jumping Trophy

For the most successful showjumper in all competitions during the year.

​

Cummins Cup Performance Trophy

To the most successful member of the Club in One Day Eventing.

​

Misty Grange Dressage Performance Trophy

To the most successful member of the Club in dressage competition.

​

Show Performance Trophy

With emphasis on the member who has excelled in rider and PC classes (quality of shows).


Horsemanship Trophy

Based on the results of the annual Zone 26 Horsemanship Championships.
